I have always been drawn to work centered on communication, learning, and connection. Across higher education, tutoring, museum education, and educational environments serving incarcerated and high-risk communities, I have worked to create learning experiences that foster confidence, curiosity, and meaningful connection.
My background spans education, communication studies, sociolinguistics, TESOL, evaluative research, and digital learning. I am especially interested in how language, storytelling, and access to information shape the ways people learn and participate in communities. My work has included instruction, curriculum development, academic support, public education programming, and research focused on educational access and learner experience.
I hold a PhD in Education from Concordia University and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics with TESOL coursework. I bring experience supporting diverse learners across educational and community-based settings, including multilingual learners and adult students. Whether teaching one-on-one, facilitating group learning, or developing educational initiatives, I value student-centered approaches that are accessible, supportive, and culturally responsive. More recently, I have also explored Digital Asset Management (DAM) and digital systems as tools for improving access to educational resources, collections, and institutional knowledge.
At the center of my work is a commitment to thoughtful, accessible, and community-centered learning. I care deeply about creating environments where people feel supported, represented, and encouraged to grow, whether in classrooms, cultural institutions, or digital spaces.
